A Wedding Photography Story
It was January 21st 2017 and Rachel and Jack were getting married at Rachel’s parent’s house in Emerald. Such a stunning place situated on the top of the hill – perfect for wedding photography. Picturesque, tranquil and absolutely divine, made wedding photography with this beautiful couple creative and fun. Forget reception venues….this place had everything and more. Rachel told me that several of their friends had been married at her family home and it wasn’t hard to see why.
Rachel and her bridesmaids got ready at her parent’s house while the boys got ready next door. They made a grand entrance on motorbikes much to the surprise of the guests.
Weddings are about family and friends coming together to celebrate love and there was no shortage of love at this wedding. Jack’s grandfather made an appearance. What was beautiful was that he hadn’t seen his grandson in ten years. With plenty of wedding photos taken of the family to remember this beautiful occasion in twenty years to come, the bridal party was ready for their wedding photos. And what fun we had! This bridal party was so easy to direct and they were all about having fun which made for some beautiful candid wedding photos. Not only did this property have a gorgeous house that resembled a wedding venue but it had paddocks for as far as the eye could see, complete with a beautiful sunset that was perfectly timed to capture that all important golden glow that cast a beautiful soft light over my newleyweds.
The night couldn’t have been better with guests enjoying music under the extension that Jack had completed. A perfect way to end the wedding.
“Meagan is an enthusiastic and friendly lady to deal with. She made everything easy when leading up to our wedding. On the day Meagan was punctual and had a fantastic energy about her. She communicated a lot with me to make sure everything was the way I wanted it. She captured our day perfectly and would recommend her photography.” ~Rachel
